Description

Five days in Lampedusa to reflect and share experiences on migration policies, borders, good reception and integration practices, humanitarian corridors. Scheduled debates, testimonies and workshops on welcome at the border, integration and civil society, human rights and protection, between vocation and legislation.

The objectives of the program are the following:

- strengthen the European and global networks, to seek consensus around shared proposals such as, for example, the humanitarian corridors we Italians have launched first.

- to denounce the ideological use made of the word "border"

- fight against the “border” in our head, as a symbol of our fears and our selfishness that do not make us see beyond the door of our problems and our interests.

- commemorating the 368 victims, children, women and men who died at sea in the famous "Lampedusa shipwreck".
